BONAPARTE ORIGINS
Hotel Bonaparte is housed in an historic five-story building in Old Montreal, constructed in 1886 by architect Victor Roy. Its original owner was the honorable judge Joseph-Amable Berthelot. To this day, “Berthelot 1886 still shows on the building’s frontispiece. Little else is known about the building’s service over the almost 100 years between then and the arrival of Hotel and Restaurant Bonaparte in 1984.
For 35 years we are proud to be a part of one of the world’s greatest neighborhoods rich in culture and style. Join us at the heart of history, where yesterday and today rub shoulders with tomorrow.
